I am by no means against Western medicine, in fact without it I would probably not be here now. However, I feel that traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture treatment can help on many levels and when combind with Western medicine then patient wellbeing is often improved along with a reduction in the need for pharmaceuticals and Western medicine consultations. As the NHS becomes more understanding of traditional Chinese medicine acupuncture (as is being seen in reports such as the NICE recommendation for low back pain) I believe a more effective and personal health care will emerge where we put the patients first, not illnesses.
My philosophy is simply to improve quality of life through the holistic application of acupuncture, lifestyle advice and traditional Chinese medicine therapies whilst remaining conversant with modern traditional Chinese medicine techniques and being mindful of the classical roots, wisdom and tradition of Chinese medicine.

"My treatment and how it would benefit me was explained in a
detailed and easy to assimilate way, and how acupuncture would work within my
body... The treatment was strong and exactly what I needed"
